MATTHEW TOLLIN

Mr. Tollin is a Founding Member and the current CEO of Channel Production Films. He has brought a unique and extraordinary vision to the project. He is an experienced media executive with extensive entertainment legal experience, having advised Ashford and Simpson and various other musicians and entertainers.

 

In 2005, he was handpicked into NYC TV by NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and helped lead the transformation of the station into NYC Media Group. He served as the General Counsel of the Group and the General Manager of the group's radio holdings, 91.5FM Radio New York. During his tenure, the network garnered a record 160 Emmy® nominations and 48 Emmy® Awards, of which Mr. Tollin received 2 Emmys® and 3 Tellys® personally. Additionally, Mr. Tollin’s group oversaw the quintupling of the Media Group’s revenues and 10x audience growth at the radio station.

ARICK WIERSON

Founder and Principal

Arick Wierson is a founding partner and principal of Channel Productions.

 

In 2002, after serving as a senior aide in his first campaign for Mayor, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg tapped Mr. Wierson to rethink the way in which New York City used its wide array of media assets. The result was unveiled in 2003, with the launch of NYC TV, which quickly emerged as a ground-breaking local television network. NYC TV grew into NYC Media Group, and by 2006, Mr. Wierson was heading the group.

LIMEI WANG 

Co-President of Development

Channel Production Films

 

Limei Wang is the co-president of development at Channel Productions as well as a resident producer for its film arm, Channel Production Films. Currently, Ms. Wang is directing the distribution and marketing of the film "Back Door Channels: The Price of Peace" and the development of several international co-productions including “China 2020” and “The Prince and 108 Demons.”

 

Ms. Wang is an award-winning producer and director with more than a decade of experience in the multimedia environment. She served as an executive member of the team responsible for managing NYC TV, a local New York television network with over a hundred employees. In the television field, Ms. Wang created and produced "Backdrop NYC," a broadcast television series highlighting short films set in New York. She also produced and directed "That's So New York" and "The City That Never Sleeps," two short series that captured local New York life. Additionally, Ms. Wang produced, directed and wrote "NY 360," an entertainment news segment on New York art, fashion and film.

 

Ms. Wang is the recipient of two Emmy® Awards for excellence in television, and four Emmy® Award nominations. She has also won two North American Promax Awards.

 

Born in China, raised in Holland and currently residing in New York, Ms. Wang is fluent in Dutch, Chinese and English.
